Simple Loom Weaving
We believe that everyone has the potential to learn something new, indulge their minds and hands. Wool-ly workshops: As catchy as it sounds, focus on reviving the lost art and craft of wool weaving, and educating women the old tradition of our Palestinian ancestors.
Printing with Flowers
In Collaboration with Om sulieman farm, Woolwoman with all generation ages explored together printing on cotton using seasonal flowers and vegetables.
Making Yarns
we focus on reviving wool making lost craft for the young generations as well. There are endless ways to create yarn for fun and education, not to mention endless colors and textures to explore, reminding them of our grand parents, having the sense of continuity and identity, helping them remember who they are and where we come from.
Dyeing with Natural Dyes
WoolWoman has implemented several yarn crafts and learning activities for parents and with their kids to do together in Haifa city, all beautifully documented in visual photos.
Creating the Loom as well
In Collaboration with Riwaq Association we designed the workshop to integrate the Palestinian traditional tiles form and design into a simple loom that we wove together. Converting the shapes and lines into multiple layers and exploring the dimensionality behind one tile.
